Well, first real official item ticked off the list today. Myself and a few friends went to Hume Park in Burnaby today for a picnic, and it was GORGEOUS! We found this amazing little greenery, covered in dandelions and daises, but sadly, there was a man mowing the lawn in one of those giant machines, and he made us move to a place where he had already mowed. He killed our pretty flowers, and I didn't think to take a picture of the lawn before hand. :(
Despite having to move (twice), the picnic was a success. We had tons of snackables - samosas and fresh veggies provided by Travis, Vanessa's amazing 8-cheese cheese platter, complete with two bottles of homemade wine, lots of fresh fruit provided by yours truly, and just so it doesn't sound so healthy, some fried chicken, provided by Michelle. I brought chocolate and muffins, too - but we were too full to really eat those. Besides, the chocolates melted.
And because I live by the phrase "Go big, or go home" - I worked on a few other items on my list, as well. I drank two glasses of Vanessa's homemade red wine, and LIKED it (mind, it was only a month aged), I took a photo of Travel Frog, which you can see below, and I made friendship bracelets for everyone involved. :)
In other news, I am 80% finished playing Final Fantasy X for PS2 (although, I admit, I was at least half way when I posted beating a video game as a goal), and although I only started the list three days ago, I've taken my A&D, and iron vitamins for almost a month straight. :)

Yay, another KL! Please, you have to expain this '101' thing, I've seen it a few places now. I'm quite intrigued.
ReplyDelete:$ Thanks for your comment on my blog, I have a hate/love relationship with my nose haha.
Hey - it comes from here --> http://www.dayzeroproject.com/
ReplyDeleteBasically, the idea is to write a list of 101 things you want to do in 1001 days, and then do it. You make a blog (or add it to your blog) and then post it on the website I gave you (the "master" list of people doing 101/1001)
I came across it by accident. But I love it - I have goals to focus on, instead of whatever else could occupy this poor mind of mine (many things, I assure you!)
Try it. You'll love it.
Man, I want to go on one of YOUR picnics! Sounds like you're getting off to a good start with your list. Just a question, though. Why is the glass of wine on a shoe?
ReplyDeleteMy shoe was acting as a wine glass holder, because the grass was bumpy and the wine glasses were only plastic. I can't waste the alcohol, can I, Beth?
ReplyDeleteNo, no you cannot waste alcohol.
ReplyDeleteI love the daisy photo, such a shame they got munched
